Lindsey Franklin Rosser, Funeral services for Lindsey Franklin Rosser will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Henderson
and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow at Rehobeth Cemetery in Cave Spring. Mr.
Rosser 74, of 16 Love Street died Monday evening at a Rome Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Spring Garden, Ala.
on August 17, 1919, son of the late John Theopolis Rosser and Minnie Lindsey Rosser. He was dairy operator and farmer and
prior to retirement, was employed by West Point Pepperell. He was an Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors
include his wife, the former Lula B. Highfield, to whom he was married on August 2, 1941, four daughters, Frances Schenk,
Centre, Barbara Wood, Tallapoosa, Joan Patterson, Waco and Sandra Kerr, Cave Spring, a son, John Roy Rosser, Cedartown, a
sister, Annie Lou Henson, Centre, two brothers, Wendell Rosser; Bombay, Fla., Huston Rosser, Gadsden, 15 grandchildren; 14
great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
