Harriet Rose Ann Roe, 98, of Chatsworth, died Thursday, July 8, 1993, at 1:45 p.m. in the Murray County Hospital. She was
preceded in death by her husbands, Curtis N. Gray and Robert W. Roe, and two daughters, Ora Lee Gray and Billie Roe Rabon.
Survivors include five sons, Dock Gray of Cohutta, Norman and Jerry Roe of Chatsworth, and Tommy Roe of Shreveport, La.;
three daughters, Glenice Gray Pellom of San Diego, Calif., Ellen Gray Stone of Cohutta, and Patsy Roe Butler of Eton; 25
grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a brother, Malcolm Lowery of
Dalton; and a sister, Grace Lowery Wooten of Tunnel Hill. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of
Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Ballew officiating. Burial will follow in the Eton Cemetery.
