died Wednesday at his home four and half miles from Rome on the Dalton road.
Mr. Oglesby was 81 years of age. He moved to Floyd county over a half century

He was a member of the Floyd county Camp No. 358, United Confederate Veterans.
He leaves a wife, three step-children and several brothers-in-law and a sister-
in-law.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Pleasant
Valley church, the Rev. C.L. Conn officiating. The pallbearers are George
Warren, Pink Watters, Joe Harris, Eli Floyd, D.P. Phillips and Pink Storey.
They are requested to meet at the residence at 2 o'clock. All veterans who can
are requested to attend the services.
