Mrs. Mary Pennington Nixon Died Last Night After Residence Here Of About Sixty Years

Mrs. Mary Pennington Nixon, resident of Rome for sixty years, died last night at her home on Branham avenue. She is survived by her two sons, George F. and Pennington Nixon, well known local business men. The funeral will be held from the residence at 10 o'clock Saturday morning and all friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill cemetery. Mrs. Nixon was a member of the Baptist church,esteemed by all who knew her and her death will be deeply regretted.
