Mr. King

Henry A. King, 80, 96 Reece Dr., N.E. Rome Rte. 7, died Saturday in a Rome hospital.
Mr. King was born in Chattooga County, July 2, 1903, son of the late Thomas W. King and Mary Padgett King. He had spent most of his life in Floyd County. He was a member of the Redmond Road Church of Christ.
Prior to retirement in 1966, he was employed for 30 years by O'Neal manu- facturing Company.
Survivors include his widow, the former Bessie Reece, to whom he was married in 1923; two sons, Norman King, Marietta, and Tom King, Rome; a brother, Horace King, Rome, eight grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Talley Brothers Funeral Home with Jimmy Bell officiating. Inerment will be in Pleasant Valley North Cemetery.
