Mrs. King
Mrs. Cora M. King, 94, of 1345 Redmond Road and 10 Wakefield Place, died Thursday morning at a health-care center.
Mrs. King was born in Alabama on Aug. 19, 1897, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anniston S. Brice. She had been a life-long resident of Floyd County and was a
member of the Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church and a former member of the W.M.U.
She was associated with Floyd Hosptial having worked in housekeeping and the linen room. She was a homemaker. Mrs. King was married in Floyd County on
July 13, 1919 to Roland Edward King who preceded her in death on December 18, 1964.
Survivors include: three daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Perry and Mrs. Margaret Cagle, both of Rome and Mrs. Mary Ann Winslett, Stockbridge; a son, Bobby M.
King, Lindale, several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Paul Loyd officiating.
