Mrs. Rosie Fountain Kerce, 69, of Wayside Road, Kingston, Rt.1, died Saturday at 1015 a.m. in a Rome hospital following
a sudden attack.
Mrs. Kerce was born in Bartow County on April 4, 1903, daughter of the late Charles Henry Fountain and Mary Jane Adams
Fountain. She spent the greater part of her life in Bartow County, moving to Floyd County 15 years ago.
Survivors include one stepson, Noland Kerce of Rome; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Fincher, Mrs. Nellie Goddard, and Mrs.
Ethel Bryant, all of Rome; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Jennings Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Larry Davis and
Russell Head officiating. Interment will be in Connesena Cemetery.
The body will remain at the funeral home and the family will receive friends there from 7 to 9 p.m. today
Pallbearers are Harold, Roy and Ray Bryant, Michael and Henry Fincher and Lamar Childers.
