Sanford Hyde Dies Thursday
Sanford Anderson Hyde, 20, of 150 Litchfield Street, Rockmart, died at a local hospital at 7:20 last night, following a 10-day illness.
Mr. Hyde was born in Kingston, GA, but for the past 10 years had resided in Rome, prior to going to Rockmart six weeks ago, where he was connected with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
Surviving are the father and step-mother, Mrs. and Mrs. W. E. Hyde, a brother, Pvt. Raymond Hyde, Camp Hood, Tex.; two stepsisters, Miss Margaret Jones, Rockmart, and Mrs. Lillian McGarty, Dallas, the grandparents, Mrs. Adeline Hyde, Cartersville, and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Young of Rome. A number of uncles and aunts also survive.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Jennings Funeral Home.
