Mr. Hyde
Funeral services for Henry Albert Hyde will be a 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Henderson and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh D. Sparks officiating.
Interment will follow at Aragon Cemetery.
Mr. Hyde, 81, of 579 Wax Road, Silver Creek, died Sunday at a Rome hospital after a long illness. He was born in Bartow County on July 6, 1913, son of the late Robert L. Hyde and Ora Carter Hyde. Prior to his retirement in 1974, he was employed by West Point Pepperell Manufacturing Co. in Lindale for 35 years. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, the former Tommie Pope, to whom he was married on Oct. 31, 1932; a daughter, Gerlene Moore, Lindale, a sister, Thelma Walker, Dallas; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
