Mrs. Horton
Mrs. Ella Mae Horton, 92 of 2640 Calhoun Ave. N.E., died Sunday at a Rome hospital.
Mrs. Horton was born in Bartow County on Feb. 4, 1907, daughter of the late W. J. Sparks and Hannah Sparks. She was retired from Advance Glove Co., and was a member of Sherwood Forest Baptist Church. Her husband, Carey James Horton, Sr. died earlier.
Survivors include one daughter, Eugenia Bradshaw; one sister, Pauline Johnson; two grandsons, and two great-grandsons.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at East View Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Jenkins officiating.
