Texas Valley
This community was saddened by the death of Joseph Hix (Hicks) which occurred at his home in Rome Friday. He was buried at Sand Springs cemetery Sunday afternoon, Rev. Cordele (Cordle) officiating. Mr. Hix (Hicks) was raised in this valley and lived here with his family until a few years ago. He was loved by everybody that knew him and leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn.
(Note: Was born January 5, 1855, died July 18, 1930)
