Cedartown Lumber Dealer Passes Over
News reached the city yesterday of the death in Cedartown of T. M. Hightower a
prominent lumber dealer and a pioneer citizen of Polk county.
He had been sick for quite a while but died from old age.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mrs. Lou Darden Hightower. He also leaves
one daughter, Mrs. G.H. Borden of Cedartown.
He has many friends in Rome who will regret to hear of his death. He was a
veteran and a prominent Mason.
The funeral will be held from his residence. Among those from Rome who will
attened the funeral are Mr. and Mrs. F.Smith.
