Steve Tom Highfield, 45, of Hunnington Park, Calif., died May 28 after a months illness. He was born October 14, 1916,, in Forney, Ala., and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife the former Alma Morrow; two daughters, Mrs. Lonnie Kite, and Mrs. Fay Moody, of California; father M.L. Highfield of Lindale; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis Drummond of Cedartown, and Mrs. Lindsey Rosser, of Cave Spring; one brother, Lewis, of Cedartown and one grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. O. D. Miinshew, the Rev. Tommy Rampley, and the Rev. Ed. Dempsey officiating. Interment was in Forney, Ala. cemetery. Olin Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of funeral arrangements.
