Mrs. Annie G. Hart.

Mrs. Annie Graves Hart, 97, Blacks Bluff Road,died Saturday night at a Rome convalescent home following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Hart was born in Cherokee County, N.C., July 28, 1876, the daughter of the late John E. and Harriett McDonald Graves. She had been a resident of Floyd County for the greater part of her life and she was the oldest living member of The Cedar Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Bible Class.
Mrs. Hart was married on Mar.1, 1900, to William F. Hart who preceded her in death in 1949.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.Mae Bishop of Rome, Mrs. W.H. Mitchell of Rte. 3, one sister, Mrs. Addie Johnson of Gastonia, N.C. Two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tal Roberts officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers included Spergon Mitchell, George Vann, Elmo Hodges, Buddy Blankenship, Hugh and Joe Terry. Honorary pallbearers included Ernest Morgan, Joe Adams, the Rev. S.H. Pendley and deacons of the Cedar Creek Church.
Talley Brothers Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
