Obituary for James C. Haire:
Young Man Passes On After Weeks Illness
Ill for only a week, James C. Haire, aged 21, passed away last night at the residence of his father, John Haire, at 205 Main Street, South Side. Young Haire was popular among his friends and a trusted employee of the Bowie Foundry.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the South Broad Methodist Church and the Rev. F. D. Cantrell will officiate. The internment will be in Myrtle Hill. The pallbearers are John Rupee, James Johnson, Arthur Padget, Leslie Kiel, Tom Mann, and Claud Hardin. They are requested to meet at Hank's undertaking Parlor at 2 o'clock.
