Services Held Today For Mrs. Ina Sue Gross
Mrs. Ina Sue Cleveland Gross, 86, of Rosewood Rd. died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday in
a Rome hospital following declining health of two years. Born in Polk County April
10, 1876, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Martha Isabell Cleveland, she
had made Rome her home since 1921. She was a member of Lyerly Baptist Church.
The former Miss Ina Sue Cleveland, she was married to Charles Alonzo Gross who
died Nov. 4, 1933. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. William W. Carter, Mrs.
Carter Minnis and Mrs. Annie Lou Smith, all of Rome, Mrs. A.G. Clark of Toccoa; one
son, Joel Co. Gross, of Toccoa, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. from the graveside in East View
Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Roebuck officiating. Daniel's Funeral Home had charge
of the arrangements.
