Pearl Dempsey
The home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Dempsey, of Rome, was saddened Oct. 21 by the death of their darling Pearl, 3
years old. She was sick about eight days with influenza which developed into pneumonia. We know it is hard to give her up; but
weep not, dear Pearl is not dead but sleeping with Jesus. She leaves to mourn her death a father, mother, five sisters and six
brothers. The funeral was conducted by Rev. L. E. Greer, and she was laid to rest in the New Prospect Cemetery.
