Mrs. Grace Davis
Mrs. Grace Wilson Davis, 67, of 113 Hycliff Road, died today in a Rome hospital following an illness of one year.
Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 29, 1905, in Rome, daughter of the late William Henry and Beulah King Wilson, and spent the greater part of her life here. She
was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a secretary at Valley Point School of Dalton.
Survivors include her husband, Emory Guy Davis, to whom she was married Oct. 20, 1935; one son, Gary Davis, Rome Rte. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Charlcie
Yarbrough and Mrs. Jewel Ballock, both of Rome; two brothers, Lester Wilson, Rome and Uclaugh Wilson of Cedartown; two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Garnett Wilder and the Rev. Lester Connel of Dalton
officiating. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Pallbearers will include Arthur Bagley, John, Henry Brooker, Thomas Brown,
Earl Henderson, Ernest Holloway, Howard Tate, Glenn Cooper and R. C. Thomason, Sr.
