George Davis
George Davis Dies at Home Saturday After Brief Illness
George Davis, 81 died at his home near Berry Hill, GA, Saturday morning, following two weeks illness.
Mr. Davis was a member of the Baptist church and had resided in Floyd county all of his life. He was well known throughout this section.
He is survived by four children: Mrs. T. S. Proudfoot, of South Georgia, Paul and W. L. Davis, of Florida and G. F. Davis of Rome.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon from Antioch Baptist Church. Rev. Chas. Cooper will conduct services. Interment in Antioch cemetery.
Daniel Company, funeral directors, are in charge of arrangements.
