Mrs. G. W. Buttram, 72, of Adairsville, Rte. 1, died Thursday in a Rome hospital.
The former Fannie Mae Carnes, she was the daughter of Lissie and Lizzie Bagley Carnes. She was a member of the Pentecostal church, Plainville.
Survivors include her husband: five daughters, Mrs. Wesley Blalock, and Mrs. Joe Bunch of Adairsville, Mrs. Mamie Campbell of Reseca, Mrs. Herman Wade of Jackson, Mrs. Sheila Duval of Kingston: two sons, L. W. Buttram of Calhoun, James Buttram, of Adairsville; 33 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the chapel of the Barton Funeral Home with the Revs. L. L. Robinson and R. L. Benefield officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Plainville. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Barton Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
