Mr. Brock

Grady G. Brock, 75 of 7 Johnson St. died Thursday evening after an illness of several months.
Mr. Brock was born Sept. 23, 1915 in Floyd County, son of the later O.C. Brock and Annie Lee Reeves Brock. He had been a life-long resident of Floyd County and was of the Baptist Faith.
He had been employed for 29 years by Southern Stove Foundry and later worked for D. & J. Manufacturing of Rome. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippines with the Army. Mr. Brock was a member of the Shanklin-Attaway Post No. 5 of the American Legion.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Ruth Davis Brock, to whom he was married Sept. 9, 1933; two sons, Leroy Brock, Rome and David Brock, Holland; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at West Oak Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Coleman and Parnick Jennings, Sr. officiating. Interment will be at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
