VIOLA H. ADAMS
Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Howell Adams, 66, of 101-A East 15th St., will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Stevens-Davenport Funeral
Home with the Revs. Billy Wilson and J. T. Payne officiating. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Paul Welchel, Leonard Brownlow, Charlie Darby, Charles Edwards, Clinnie Brooks, and Namon Cox.
Mrs. Adams, the former Miss Nora Viola Howell, was born in Rome, March 6, 1902, daughter of the Alvin and Mary Swanson Howell. She had spent her entire
life here and was a member of the Coosa Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband U. J. S. Adams, on February 2, 1960.
