MRS. EMMA ABRAMS' FUNERAL MONDAY AT PISGAH CHURCH
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Abrams, 54, who died Sunday morning at her residence, Coosa route number 1, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Pisgah church, with the Rev. A. B. Carnes officiating.
Interment was in the Pisgah cemetery. Mrs. Abrams suffered a lingering illness.
She was born inFloyd County and spent her entire life here. She had a wide circle of friends and had been an active member of the Pisgah Methodist church for many years.
Surviving her are her husband, R. W. Abrams; two sons, Frank and Bill Abrams, of Birmingham; six daughters, Mrs. G. E. Edgens, of Armuchee, Mrs. Arthur McCullough, Mrs. J. B. Johnson, Mrs. C. T. McLaughlin, of Birmingham, Mrs. J. B. Henderson, of Chattanooga, and Mrs. Arthur Hunter of Centre, Ala. Pallbearers included J. B. Henderson, C. T. McLaughlin, G. E. Edgens, George Edgens, Lee Cherry and Owen Tolbert.
