To all People to whom these presents shall come, I, SAMUEL MORSE, do Greeting know ye that I the said SAMUEL MORSE of the State aforesaid and planter for and in consideration of thw love, good will and affection which I Bear toward my loving and affectionate Son, JOHN JULIN MORSE, of the State and County aforesaid, have given and granted and by these presents do freely give and grant unto the said JOHN JULIN MORSE, his heirs, executors, and administrators all and singular my goods and chattels now being in my dwelling house with two horses and a Saddle and Bridle and two Cows and Calves and thirty head of hogs and two Feather Beads and all my working tools and household furniture. And all that I now possess of which before the Signing of these presents I have delivered him the said JOHN JULIAN MORSE an Inventory Signed with my own hand bearing Date to have and to hold all the said goods & Chattels, horses and cows and calves within the said presents to him the said JOHN JULIAN MORSE, his heirs and assigns from henceforth as his and their goods and chattels absolutely without any manner of --------. IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of May One thousand Seven hundred and ninety one and in the fifteenth year of American Independence. /s/SAMUEL MORSE (seal)
