A wedding of much interest was that of Miss Wilma Solomon, the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Solomon, of Douglas, and Mr. H. B. Curling, also of Douglas, this week.
They were quietly married about ten o'clock Monday night at the parsonage of the Methodist church, Rev. W. M. Blitch officiating. The only witnesses were Miss Marion Curling, daughter of the groom, and Mr. Julian Solomon, brother to the bride.
It had been thought that the couple would soon be married, therefore their friends were not entirely surprised when the news leaked out.
