site does not attempt to document all Cobb burials; instead,
the persons listed here are the contributions of individual
family researchers in memory of their loved ones. We would
like to thank all of you who have shared your work with this
website. You are helping others connect with their ancestors
and are greatly appreciated for your generosity.
For those of you who have cemetery submissions that you would like to
see on this website, we can use two kinds of submissions: transcriptions
and photos.
Both must be of graves in Cobb cemeteries or of Cobb residents in
nearby cemeteries. In the cemetery listing below, you may find a
transcription
and/or a photo of gravestones. If there is a picture of the gravestone
available, you will see the surname as a hyperlink. When submitting
contributions, please give as much information as possible to help
those who follow you
either locate the cemetery or the marker. Again, thanks so much for
your help in keeping genealogy research free and available to all.
There are approximately 235 cemeteries in Cobb County. The latitude, longitude
and map location are as recorded with GNIS (Geographic Names Information System).
