Looking for info on William Copeland, born about 1844 in Georgia.
The 1880 Census has him living in Marietta, Cobb County Ga:
William, born GA, age 35
Wife Sarah born AL age 39
Daughter Nancy, born GA age 12
Daughter Mary, born GA, age 7
Daughter Willie, born GA, age3
Daughter Sarah, born GA, age 1
I believe I find William again in the 1910 census, in Cobb, Marietta
GA: He is 70 years old, living with a new wife of five years, Nannie, age
41. Her father was living with them: Joshua Foster age 82, born in SC.
I am looking for the daughters, in particular Mary and Sarah. In
1900, I find Mary Copeland Teague, with husband James Teague, in DeKalb county
AL, and the other Sarah Copeland living with them.
I am hoping this might be my brick wall great grandmother, her Sarah
and her sister Mary seem to have come out of nowhere in 1900. This is the
first very positive lead I've come across.
