New Providence Cemetery is located adjacent to New Providence Baptist Church on Providence Road in eastern Cobb County.

It is not a small cemetery, although it is not a big one, either.  However, it is very well-maintained.  It has about 150 marked graves, give or take.  It also has a large number of graves marked only with a fieldstone.

Some of the more common names include Atkins, Braswell, Holcomb, Murdock, Sauls, Seabolt and Samples, in addition to some of the "usual suspects" such as Blackwell and Dobbins.
