Hi Beth,
I am sending you a picture of my grandmothers' family. My
grandmother Annie (Scott) Foster. The picture was taken
around 1903 to 1904 in Alabama before moving to Milstead to go to
work in the mill. Her father moved them from Alabama to Milstead in
1905. As Mr. Frank Smith says in his book textile mills liked large
families. So there were five spinners in this family.
