Flat Rock Baptist Church

Flat Rock Baptist
Church was founded on this location in 1875 within the City of College Park. Atlanta’s, Hartsfield International Airport is adjacent to this site to the North. The church sold it’s property to the City of Atlanta and reformed as The National Heights Baptist
Church and moved to another location. This Cemetery is "owned" by the City of Atlanta. The surrounding community has been condemned and torn down to make room for a 5th runway at the airport. It is felt that this cemetery is in danger of being moved or surrounded by airport.
