The Bonner Cemetery is located on the land that once belonged to Zadock Bonner, Jr. The grave listed here are a partial listing only. There are many graves at this cemetery that are unmarked. In Carrollton go Southwest on Maple St. toward S. Cliff St. Turn slight left onto US 27. Stay on 27 for 6.8 miles then turn right on to Bonner Goldmine Rd.

Zaddock Bonner, Jr., was one of the wealthiest men men in Georgia before 1860. He discovered what became known as the "Bonner Bonanza" when he hit gold in Carroll County, Georgia.  He was known to have been worth over three quarters of a million dollars before the "Civil War".
