This small cemetery is on the west side of Groovers Lake Road, near its intersection with Sweetwater Road. The five graves from right to left are: Elizabeth C. Mauldin Stone (first w/o Augustus Neal Stone) Augustus Neal Stone 22 September 1830 - 28 December 1911 Pvt., Co. C, 30th Georgia Infantry Regt., CSA (Wounded and permanently disabled at Murfreesboro, 24 December 1864) One of his twin daughters, probably Alice -- she died first about 1902. Mary E. Stone (second w/o Augustus Neal Stone) 15 May 1848 - 28 May 1930 The other twin, Emma -- she died about 1903. This cemetery was initially surveyed by Mike Loggins of the Douglas County Cemetery Preservation Commission, but three of the five graves have no identifying information. Subsequently, a relative in Atlanta provided the additional information about family members buried here. Confederate research done by Sandra Whittington.
