Silvey Family Cemetery
As far as We know there are 2 graves there. I have not checked to see if
there are any unmarked graves around them. The graves are:
Drewry Silvey b. 1776 d. 1860
Campbell Co., Georgia
Mary Arin Womack b.
July 12, 1793 d. 1864
Campbell Co., Georgia
The graves are located on the original property of Drewry
Silvey.
Location:
Take Hwy. 92 out of Fairburn. Just outside of Fairburn
City Limits take Hall Rd. to Left. Just as you turn onto hall rd, park your car.
Walk up Hall road about 50 ft. Right about there used to be the old Hwy. 92 road
bed. Look to your right. Walk up the embankment and you should be on the old
road bed. Follow it and you will pass 2 cabins that are rotting down on your
left. Stay on path to the right until you come to some houses. Look left and the
graves are about 50 ft away. It is 1 marker that was erected by their
granddaughter.
