Last Will and Testament of
Burgess Gentry

In the name of God Amen, I Burgess Gentry of the State Georgia Campbell county, Knowing the uncertainty of life and the Scertainty of death and at the presant time being perfectly Sound in mind but not in body make this my last will and Testament.

Item 1st: I desire after my death that my body should be deasently burried and that my Sole Should return to God who gave it.

Item 2nd: I desire that all my just debts Should be paid.

Item 3rd: I desire that my property Should be disposed of in the following manner, to my wife Annis Gentry fifty acres of land lying in the north east corner of lot No. 85 Eight district of originally Coweta now Campbell county.

4th: I desire that my three youngest sons David, Samuel and Wiley Shall have my entire Interest in the land that I now live on let it be what it may, Lot of land No.86 - 8th Dist. Originally Coweta now Campbell County and all the stock and farming tools that may be on the place at my death, and I further desire that my three youngest daughters, Ruthy, Mary, & Nancy Shall have a support from the proceeds of the above mentioned land that I has given to my three sons above mentioned, until they become of age or marry.

5th: I desire that my entire family as it now is should remain together so long as my wife Annis Gentry shall remain my widow, and also that my entire household and Kitchen shall belong to the children above mentioned whenever my wife Annis Gentry shall die or cease to be my Widow. 6th: I further desire that the will of my Father in regard to the Support of my Sister Rhoda Gentry be carried out in good faith, which Garantees to her a support during her life.

7th: I hereby constitute and appoint my trustees, Annis Gentry, and Thos. P. Dean, Executors of this my last will and Testament, This 15th January, 1868.
