War Path in Jasper County
On the War Path, four Jasper county men met in the road near Monticello, one day last week, and a dispute was indulged in. About fifteen shots were fired, but strange to relate, nobody was seriously hurt. Messrs. Odias Pope and Walter Rosby were on one side and Lum Bryant and Sam Davis on the other. All parties have been arrested, and the trial will come off some time this week in Monticello.
