Giles, Teg – Corn Crib We regret to learn that Mr. Teg Giles had his corn crib and barn destroyed by fire on Sunday night last. This will be a very heavy loss on Mr. G. as we learn that he lost about seventy bushels of corn, together with fodder and cotton seed. It was supposed to be the work of an incendiary. Mr. Joe Hard, the son-in-law of Mr. Giles, was arrested and lodged in jail on suspicion. We learn that he had his trial yesterday, but have not heard whether he was convicted or not.
