First day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty seven
between Sarah Bankston of the State and county of the one part and Charles F.
Newton of the same place of the other part witness that the said Sarah Bankston
for and in consideration of the sum of forty two dollars & fifty cents cash in
hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge hath and doth by these
presents revise release and forever quit claims to my said Dower interest in
Lot No.5_9 in the incorporated limits of the Indian Spring Reserve the said
Dower interest containing Eleven or twelve acres more or less with all the
rights members and appurtenances to said Dower interest in any wise
appertaining as belonging to the Charles f. Newton his heirs and assigns. To
have and to hold said premises unto the said Charles F. Newton his heirs and
assigns so that written I the said Sarah Bankston nor my heirs nor any other
person claiming under me or them shall at any time hereafter by any way as
means have claims or demand any right as title to the aforesaid premises as it
appurtenances as any part thereof. In testimony whereof the said Sarah
Bankston hath hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal the day and year first
above written.
