Bankston & Johnson to Treadwell

This indenture made this the 4th day of December 1888, between Eliza Bankston, Cynthia Johnson and A. H. Treadwell all of the County aforesaid witnesseth that the said Eliza Bankston and Cynthia Johnson for and in consideration of the sum of ten dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does hereby sell and convey unto the said A H. Treadwell his heirs and assigns a certain tract r lot of land situated in the County aforesaid to wit.  One acre near Mt. Vernon Church bounded as follows, North of the public road leading from Indian Springs to High Falls.  East by lands of W. P. Nutt, south and west by the lands of Eliza Bankston and Cynthia Johnson.  Together will all the rights and privileges these unto belonging in fee simple and the said Eliza Bankston and Cynthia Johnson there heirs executors and administrators the title to the premises aforesaid will forever warrant and defend to the said A. H. Treadwell his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all other persons.  In witness whereof the said Eliza Bankston and Cynthia Johnson have hereunto set their hand and seal this day and year aforesaid.
