GUNN CEMETERY
Submitted by

178 Mt. Vernon Church Rd., Jackson, GA
Surveyed: 7 November 1998 By the Butts Co. Genealogical Society.
This is a very old cemetery and shows no evidence of any care. One grave is sunken, markers are down and the Cemetery is overgrown with weeds & covered with leaves and fallen trees. Take GA Hwy. 42 south, 6.7 miles to Mount Vernon Road and turn right. Follow this road, .4 mile to just beyond Cenie Road and the cemetery is on right side in front of the residence of 178 Mt. Vernon Church Road. A large pine tree has a posted sign, a wooded sign with the letters VHSC and a metal sign with no markings. This Cemetery is enclosed in an iron fence about 100' off of the road.
