  Butts Court of Ordinary August Term 1856
It appearing to the Court that Benjamin M. Byars Deceased, without a Will, and whereas Richard G. Byars published a citation  in terms of the Law in such cases made and provided of his intuition to apply for letters of administration of said Estate, and the said Richard G. Byars having come into open Court and  tendered a bond for the administration of said estate with Harrold N. Byars as his Security, in the Sum of Seven Thousand dollars, It is therefore named by the Court that Richard G. Byars be and he is hereby appointed the administrator of said estate of the said Benjamin M. Byars and that the said Harold N. Byars be and he is hereby approved as his security, & where upon said the said Richard G. Byars came into Open Court and took upon himself oath required of him by law for the faithful performance of the trust reposed in him, and letters of administration did open to him accordingly.
