Mr. Hubert H. Lambert, 72, entered into rest Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Burke
Medical Center in Waynesboro.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Monday,
March 22, at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church, with the Revs. Wayne Dixon and
Keith Alderman officiating. Interment followed at Burke Memorial
Gardens.
Mr. Lambert was the husband of Mary Phyliss Lambert and had
resided in Burke County most of his life. He was a retired automobile mechanic
and a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.
Family members include
two sons, Hubert F. Lambert Jr. of Stapleton and Don Monroe Lambert of
Waynesboro; three daughters, Charlotte Ann Moon, Mary Frances Callison and Nona
Elaine Weddon, all of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mildred Brown and Minnie Lane,
both of Millen; two brothers, Grady Lambert of Millen and Elmer Lambert of
Waynesboro; and 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers
were Jasper Tucker, Steve Weddon, Greg Salter, Elmer Lambert Jr., David Bowles,
Bobby Posey and Henry Martin.
