LEE, John - 1st Sergeant April 18, 1861. Elected Jr. 2d Lieutenant September 4, 1861. Wounded in left arm at 2d Manassas, Va., August 28, 1862. Elected Captain May 8, 1862. Resigned January 16, 1863.

 

LYON, Charles R. - 2d Sergeant April 18, 1861. Absent without leave May 1, 1862 - August 31, 1864. No later record.

 

LOPER, William W. - Private April 22, 1861. Killed at Spotsylvania, Va. May 10, 1864.

 

LUNDY, McLin (or McLain) - Private April 18, 1861. Captured at Greenwood, Va. July 7, 1863. took oath of allegiance to U.S. Government and released at Point Lookout, Md. February 22, 1864.

MARTIN, Joseph J. - Private April 18, 1861. Discharged, "having served his time as required by Conscript Act," July 22, 1862. Pension records show he enlisted as a private in Company G, 4th Regt. Georgia Cavalry (Clinch's), July 1863. Transferred to a Company in 22d Battalion, Georgia Siege Artillery. In Charlotte, N.C. Hospital with fever, March 20, 1865. Born in Pierce County, Georgia, December 30, 1845.

 

McSWAIN, Alexander H. - Private 20, 1861. Wounded at 2d Manassas, Va. August 28, 1862. Captured at Gettysburg, Pa. July 2, 1863. Took oath of allegiance to U. S. Government at Point Lookout, Md. and released February 23, 1864.

 

MERCER, Isaac - (or Messer) - Privatge April 18, 1861. Killed at Spotsylvania, Va. May 20, 1864. Released at Elmira, N.Y. June 30, 1865.

 

MILLER, Alexander J. - Private May 23, 1861. Surrendered, Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865.

 

MILLER, James B. - Private June 27, 1861. Killed at Spotsylvania, Va. May 12, 1864.

F, 4th Regiment Georgia Cavalry (Clinch's), December 10, 1862. Appointed Sergeant. Elected jr. 2nd Lieutenant of Clinch's Battery Georgia Light Artillery. Captured at Fort McAllister, Georgia December 13, 1864. Released at Fort Delaware, Del. June 12, 1865.

 

PEARCE, E. Louis (or PIERCE) - Jr. 2d Lieutenant April 18, 1861. Elected 2d Lieutenant September 4, 1861; 1st Lieutenant May 10, 1862; Captain January 16, 1863. Surrendered Appomattox, Va., April 9, 1865.
