SP - 6 Jauquin B. Holton, age 43, of 501 Pecan Drive, Hazlehurst, died Tuesday night, March 4, 1975 in the Ware Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Alma, was retired from the United States Army, a member of the Methodist Church, Lions Club and American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hope Holton, Hazlehurst; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Holton, Alma; three sisters, Mrs. Orean Carter, Hazlehurst, Mrs. John Bodie, Boone, North Carolina, and Mrs. Wilburt Yawn, Alma; two brothers, Thomas L. Holton and Dywane Q. Holton, both of Alma; his Grandmother, Mrs. Lydia White, Waycross; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Bishop - Deen Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Story officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens with full Military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
