Miss Kate Bennett and Mr. Russel Tyre were united in marriage last week. The bride is the pretty and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Bennett, formerly of Baxley. She has been a teacher in the public schools of Appling and is quite popular.
