I am interested in finding out any information on a Lee family.   The wife was Catherine, born around 1824. I think her husband might have been Randall or Randolph Lee.
They had 9 children. Eliza Lee, born Dec 6, 1843, Allison Lee- about 1843, Isaac Lee- abt 1849, John Lee-abt 1854, Sarah Lee - abt 1855, Nancy A. Lee - abt 1838, Josephine Lee - 1863 and Oscar Lee - abt 1865.   Eliza Lee married Marcus A. Stone.  If you have any information on any of this family I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

  • Seeking information on LINGE(R)FELT, WEHUNT, HILL, HOWARD, LARMON/LAWMON/LOWMAN, LYONS, GROGAN families. My grandfather was Harley Andrew LINGEFELT, whose parents were James Jackson LINGEFELT and wife Dora Samantha WEHUNT. James was son of John Wesley LINGEFELT and wife Amanda Emaline Mourning HOWARD. Dora was daughter of William WEHUNT and wife Martha LYONS. John Wesley was son of John LINGEFELT and wife Cynthia HILL. Amanda was daughter of Peter HOWARD and wife Clarissa GROGAN. John was probably son of David LINGEFELT and wife Barbara WION/WEHUNT. I would appreciate any information available about these families, collateral lines, and ancestry, and will be glad to share what I have.

  • I am looking for information on the families of three brothers who were slaves in Dawson Co., were sold to 3 different owners, and upon emancipation had the surnames: MCCLURE, CANTRELL, ROE. Their descendants include Hiram Anderson McClure (married to Flora Cantrell 12/24/1909 in Dawson Co.) In addition I believe they were related to Hiram Sanford, my g-g-g-grandfather, whose daughter Louvenia, married George McClure, and Louvenia and george were the parents of Hiram (above)

  • I am interested in the Neal family of Dawson Co. Georgia. I have a Daniel Neal in 1860 with wife Milly, 1870 with wife but his children are living with a Davis Byrd in Dawson Co. Georgia. Is there a connection with these families.? In 1880 the children are back with Daniel Neal and his wife. I am interested in a James Neal b. ca. 1863 which I believe to be the son of Daniel Neal and Milly. This James Neal married in 1888 Dawson Co. Georgia to a Malinda Fouts. They are my gr-grandparents. I believe Malinda Fouts to be the child of John Fouts and Alpha Fields of Dawson Co. Georgia. They moved to Ark. and then to Paris, Texas. Malinda Fouts died ca. 1900. Their son was John Cecil Neal, my grandfather. Any info on this family is appreciated. Thank you, Karen Guidry
