Anona Pioneer Cemetery
Largo, FL
Prior to 1964 the Pioneer Section of Serenity Gardens Memorial Park was known as the Old Anona Cementery. The cemetery is located at 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo, Florida. Indian Rocks Road is situated 12 miles West of US 19 in Largo.
The Pinellas Genealogy Society canvassed Serenity Gardens 23 gardens and mausoleums and the Old Anona Cemetery between November 14, 1998 and April 24th 1999. The project was chaired by Lesleigh Laite Butts. The dedicated PGS members who canvassed the Old Anona Cemetery section were Jerry J. Butts and Lt. Col. Warren G. Peck; 619 interments were recorded.
