"Uncle" Bill Lundy lived in Laurel Hill and Crestview.
He was reported to be the last living Confederate Veteran in Florida,

the William Lundy Camp, is named for him.

Visitors to the Gulfarium in 1963.
The Gulfarium project was started in 1954 by Brandy Siebenaler
at Fort Walton Beach. It opened on August 15, 1955, with a staff
of about 20 trained professionals. The Gulfarium was one of the first
major tourist attractions in the Florida Panhandle.
