Welcome to the web page of the Mary Todd Lincoln Detached Tent #10 of the Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, sometimes abbreviated DUVCW. The DUVCW was first organized in May 1885 and was incorporated in December of the same year.
The objectives of the DUVCW are:
to perpetuate the memories of our fathers
to honor their loyalty to the Union
to honor their unselfish sacrifices for the preservation of the same
to keep alive the history of those who participated in that heroic struggle for the maintenance of our free government
Membership in the DUVCW is limited to daughters, granddaughters and all great-granddaughters of honorably discharged soldiers who served in the Union Army, Navy, Marine Corps. or Revenue Cutter Service during the Rebellion of 1861-1865.
Membership can also include any female descendant of those who died or were killed by serving in these armed services of the Union between April 12, 1861 and April 9, 1865. Minimum age requirement for membership shall be eight (8) years and shall be through lineal descent only. Annual dues for a member
