Please visit my site and meet my family. I have many pages for the lines in my famliy including the McKinnons who settled in nearby Walton Co. One line of that family lived in Jackson Co.- Daniel Love MCKINNON and his wife Mary ATTAWAY and while they are not in my direct line (I am descended from Daniel's sister Sarah), I have made a page for them.

VICKERS Home Page
My grandfather Wesley Call Vickers was born in Jackson Co., FL in 1888. His grandfather, James Vickers, came to Jackson Co. in the early1820's from GA. The Vickers lived off of 77 between Graceville and Chipley, and most are buried in the Damascus Baptist Church cemetery.  Jake Vickers was on the school board about the turn of the century. I am researching the Vickers, O'Conner/O'Connor, and Pelt/VanPelt, surnames. I also have a home page entitled "The Vickers Family Resource Page" for those researching their Vickers families in the south. On the page I have the stories of James and Sallie, Jacob and Addie, and Wesley and Nellie, (g-g-grandparents, g-grandparents, and grandparents) of  Jackson Co.
