Old wildlife Officers never die; They live on in the
memories of hunters and fisherman, Their voices may be
heard in the echos of hounds ringing through the forest,
the chatter of squirrels and the call of the quail,
their presence may be witnessed int he smoke of camp fires,
the ripple of a fishing cork and the explsion of a bass
smashing a surface lure. They walk beside the coon hunter at
midnight and share the joys of sunrise with the duck hunter,
They have passed our way and our lives and our wildlife
heritage is much richer. In passing they leave mighty big
tracks that will be difficult to fill and impossible to erase.

Just in the morning of his day in youth and love he died.
Son of Doris TRAYLOR SMITH and David SMITH
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an
afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to
dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave now, my life is
done. We love and miss you.
